Consort Hotel - Rotherham

Is my hostelry of choice when on business in S. Yorks. Highly recommended. Really shouldn't say too much or everyone will want to stay there!

The location was marvellous for me. Btw, the airport was 30 km away.

The breakfasts are lovely and absolutely fantastic with croissants and toast, as example. The location is good, plus there was a private parking. We would come here again in this comfy hotel.

The room met the needs, it was spotless here with bath, lovely shower, 2 single beds.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was really tasty. The executive suite was comfy and spacious, nice. We liked that it was warm and clean, too. Free parking was a big plus!

the shower was a bit tricky to turn off and the walls were kinda thin so we heard some noise from other rooms.

Stayed here to attend a private party in the hotel. The food was very good despite catering for 95.

The staff were really helpful and were very accommodating with our dog.Excellent evening meal.

Friendly staff but dining needs improvement

The room was spacious and warm. Dinner options were limited and the food quality left much to be desired, disappointing. A better dining experience would really enhance future stays.

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, good value menu, good selection of food well presented, quick service, excellent breakfasts.

Nothing of any note. Could perhaps deploy a few more insect repellers in rooms but, to be fair, it is summer.

Budget hotel, very clean, also bathroom extremely friendly people and geographically conveniently located. Room practically furnished.

Television did not work and WIFI hardly.

This is a good hotel with the potential to become excellent if minor issues were attended to. Parking is good. Breakfast is freshly cooked and good value. We paid £60 incl breakfast for a double room, which was VFM. The bed was comfortable, the room clean and tidy. There is WIFI and Freeview TV. There were ample towels and there is an a/c unit. We were on the ground floor and there is an electric window roller shutter which gives added security. I would stay here again.

The bathroom needs somie very minor attention. There were cobwebs & some mould on the ceiling. The bath panel kept falling off. The shower door which is a tri-fold leaks a lot of water onto the floor. There was a function on and so the car park can get full if you return late in the evening and it can be occassionally noisy as you can hear the DJ and disco.

This is a very nice hotel with good facilities and a very pleasant team who look after you expertely.

Our stay was for business and we have absolutely nothing to criticise.

The hotel was cute to our large family and our three dogs, and the beds in our room were comfortable.

My wife says that the room cleanliness could really improve. It's crucial for families to have cleaner common areas.
